On Work: The employer/employee relationship is built on a foundation of trust and cooperation. The employer must provide reasonable projects, adequate salary, and the possibility of advancement/improvement. The employee must provide quality work in a timely manner, abide by the workplace rules, and attempt to keep the interests of the employer paramount during work hours.
On the Internet: Geeks are the backbone of the Internet, but they are not the primary customers. Far too many Internet solutions focus on the high-end user or rely on the "cool factor" to achieve success. In the end, these projects fail. While the technology driving the Internet is constantly evolving, the core design principles have not changed. The fundamentals of design theory and functional design must be respected to achieve lasting success on the Web.
On Learning: Man is at his best when he is expanding his mind. Learn to love learning. Whether watching the History Channel at home or reading a book on a plane everyone should spend some free time trying to expand their horizons. Some people say that a single person can't be good at everything. Those people have just stopped trying.
On Myself: I'm not perfect, after all, perfect people don't gloat. But I'm working on that. ;)
